About Our Products
Sorrell Jewels specialises in carefully sourced vintage and pre-owned jewellery.
Every item is individually selected and is sold as a unique piece unless otherwise stated.
Because our jewellery is vintage or pre-owned, signs of age and previous wear should be expected. These characteristics are part of the history and charm of vintage jewellery and are not considered faults.
Where we identify significant damage or repairs, these will be clearly described in the product listing wherever possible.
Product Descriptions
We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, photographs, measurements and specifications are accurate.
However:
colours may vary slightly depending on your screen or device;
measurements are approximate;
gemstone colours may appear differently in different lighting conditions;
vintage jewellery may contain natural variations consistent with age.
We reserve the right to correct any accidental errors or omissions on the website without prior notice.
Ring Sizes
Ring sizes are measured as accurately as possible using professional ring sizing equipment.
Customers are responsible for checking that they have selected the correct size before placing an order.
If you are unsure of your ring size before purchasing, we recommend measuring an existing ring or using a professional jeweller.
Resizing availability varies depending on the design and construction of each vintage ring. We cannot guarantee that any ring can safely be resized.
Hallmarks, Metals & Gemstones
Where jewellery carries a hallmark, this will be stated in the product description where possible.
Some vintage jewellery may not be hallmarked due to its age, country of origin or previous resizing or repair work. Where appropriate, unhallmarked precious metals are professionally acid tested before being listed for sale.
Gemstones are identified to the best of our knowledge using visual assessment and experience. Unless specifically stated, gemstones have not been independently laboratory certified.
Availability
Due to the unique nature of vintage jewellery, each item is generally available in a quantity of one.
Adding an item to your basket does not reserve it.
An item is only secured once payment has been successfully completed and you receive an order confirmation.
In the unlikely event that an item becomes unavailable before your order is processed, we will notify you as soon as possible and issue a full refund.
Pricing
All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (£ GBP).
Prices include VAT where applicable.
We reserve the right to amend prices at any time before an order is accepted.
Occasionally genuine pricing errors may occur. If we discover that a product has been listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel the order before dispatch. If payment has already been taken, you will receive a full refund.
Orders
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected item(s).
After placing your order, you will receive an automated email confirming that your order has been received. This does not mean your order has been accepted.
Your order is accepted once it has been prepared for dispatch and you receive confirmation that it has been shipped.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where:
payment cannot be authorised;
fraud or suspicious activity is suspected;
incorrect pricing or product information has been displayed;
the item is no longer available;
we are unable to fulfil the order for reasons beyond our reasonable control.
Where an order is cancelled after payment has been taken, a full refund will be issued.

We accept payment through the payment methods available at checkout, which currently include:

Payment must be received in full before an order can be processed and dispatched.
All payment transactions are securely processed by our payment providers. Sorrell Jewels does not store or have access to your full payment card details.
If a payment is declined or cannot be authorised, we will not be able to process your order.
Digital Gift Cards
We offer digital gift cards that can be purchased through our website.
Digital gift cards are delivered electronically to the email address provided during purchase.
Gift cards may only be redeemed against eligible purchases made through the Sorrell Jewels website.
Gift cards:
cannot be exchanged for cash;
cannot be refunded once purchased except where required by law;
cannot be replaced if deleted due to an incorrect email address being entered at checkout;
may only be redeemed until their full balance has been used.

Shipping
We currently ship within the UK and internationally using Royal Mail.
Estimated delivery times shown on our website are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.
Dispatch times may vary during busy periods, holidays, product launches or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive confirmation by email.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address provided at checkout is accurate.
We cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by Royal Mail, customs authorities or incorrect delivery information supplied by the customer.
International Orders
International customers are responsible for complying with the import requirements of their own country.
Orders shipped outside the United Kingdom may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, handling charges or other fees imposed by local customs authorities.
These charges are not included within our product or shipping prices unless explicitly stated.
Sorrell Jewels has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
Failure to pay any customs or import charges may result in delays, returned parcels or additional fees, which remain the responsibility of the customer.
Risk of Loss
Ownership of your order transfers to you once payment has been received in full.
Responsibility for the goods transfers to you once your order has been delivered to the address provided at checkout.
If tracking confirms successful delivery, we cannot accept responsibility for parcels that are subsequently lost, stolen or damaged.

Customers may choose to create an account when shopping with Sorrell Jewels.
Creating an account is optional.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity carried out using your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when creating an account and to update your information if it changes.

promotional codes cannot be applied retrospectively after an order has been placed;
promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
we reserve the right to withdraw or amend promotions at any time.
Where a promotional code has been used and an order is later refunded, the refund will reflect the amount actually paid.
Wholesale Orders
Any wholesale orders supplied by Sorrell Jewels may be subject to separate terms agreed between both parties.
