The Jewellery Treasures I’ve Brought Home From Holiday
The jewellery shops, antique stores and hidden treasures I've discovered on my travels, from Corfu and Crete to Mallorca.
I’ve always loved collecting jewellery to mark milestones, whether that’s a personal achievement, a special occasion, or a moment in the Sorrell Jewels journey. But I also love adding to my collection whenever I travel. There’s something so special about bringing home a jewel-shaped souvenir that reminds you of a place long after you’ve unpacked your suitcase.
As I’m heading off on holiday to Corfu this week, I’ve been packing my jewellery and pulling out pieces I’ve collected on previous trips. A few of you have messaged me over the years asking where I’ve found some of my favourite treasures, so I thought it’d be fun to share the stories behind them and some of the jewellery shops that have stolen my heart along the way.

Kerkyra, Corfu
I’m very excited to be heading back to Corfu because one of my favourite jewellery shops is there: rolandos_art
The last time I visited, I found an incredible sterling silver Sacred Heart ring that has become one of my most treasured pieces. Naturally, I’m very much looking forward to seeing what I discover this time around.
To prepare for the trip, I’ve already put together a full jewellery-hunting map filled with shops I’ve researched online. Half the fun is the treasure hunt itself, and I never want to risk missing a hidden gem.

Santanyi, Mallorca
Last year, while on holiday in Mallorca, I spent a day exploring the beautiful town of Santanyí. The market there is full of independent makers and, more importantly, stunning handmade jewellery. I came home with a chunky labradorite ring, while my mum found a gorgeous pearl necklace.
Of course, wherever I go, I’m always searching for vintage treasures too. During the trip I discovered Thira Joyas, a shop so good that I’m genuinely planning to return to Mallorca one day just to visit it again.
The shop stocks a beautiful mix of handmade and vintage pieces, think statement cameos, decadent earrings and endless pearls. While I was there, I found a stunning vintage garnet sterling silver ring that I still wear all the time.

Rethymno, Crete
There are two jewellery shops in Rethymno that I always recommend.
The first is K22 Jewellery Design, a workshop creating beautiful gemstone pieces with contemporary, sculptural settings. Both times I’ve visited Rethymno I’ve added rings to my collection from the shop, including a ruby and aquamarine ring and, on a later trip, a wonderfully chunky amethyst piece.
If you’ve been following me for a while over on Tik Tok, you’ll probably already know about what may be my favourite place on earth: ANTIQUE - CRETE.
I first stumbled across the shop completely by accident a few years ago and instantly fell in love. Last year, I actually went back specifically to revisit it and hunt for treasures.
Over the course of the trip, I bought more than 60 sterling silver pieces and visited on three separate occasions. The shop is enormous and packed floor to ceiling with jewellery, antiques and collectibles, so multiple visits felt absolutely essential.
The Best Jewellery Souvenirs
If you can’t tell already, my family absolutely love Greece, and over the years I’ve become quite seasoned at hunting down jewellery abroad.
Before every trip, I spend far too much time searching Google, Instagram and TikTok for recommendations, but some of the best finds happen completely by accident. Often it’s simply a case of wandering down a side street, peeking through a window and spotting something special.
I’m very excited to get away this week and see what treasures Corfu has waiting for me. If history is anything to go by, I’ll probably come home with a few more rings than I left with.
